“My legal qualification and training from Auckland University had a profound effect on my career,” says Rob.
“It enabled me to travel down a multi-disciplinary path by combining legal and accounting skills, primarily via the tax profession and various roles in public policy. I am delighted to be recognised by this distinguished alumni award and I am grateful to the University for not only the recognition but for also playing a key role in facilitating my career.”
Rob now practises as a barrister sole, providing business and tax advice as well as governance services as a company director and trustee. He has also written and presented numerous papers, given university lectures and supervised postgraduate students.
